What We Offer
Welcome to 21st Century Sexology. We offer a new approach to Individual, Couple, and Sex Therapy, that is rooted in empathy, awareness, and problem solving, to all your emotional, sexual, communication, relationship, and mental health concerns. Our goal is to create a transformative journey, allowing you to love yourself and your partner (if you have one) in a new exciting way, free from the power struggles and cultural do’s and don’ts that we have been trapped by. Within this haven, each person and couple are encouraged to navigate their unique sexual identities, to help them become more assured, genuine, and attain a profound sense of belonging. We call this new approach Multidimensional Relational Therapy (MDRT) and it includes how we, as human beings, bring our ego-self and our spiritual-self into everything we say and do, including our romantic relationships.
Mitra Rashidian, Ph.D, LMFT., CST., ABS.
I have been working in the mental health field full-time since 1999. Due to both personal and professional experiences, I am now a firm advocate for those who are embarking on the journey of self-discovery, that enables self-empowerment, self-compassion, and the nurturing of enduring relationships. My goal is to help each person understand and embrace their authentic true-self, related to their mental health, sexuality, and sexual identity. We are all born into this world as strong sexual beings, however, we sometimes lose faith in ourselves along the way. I see my task as reminding you of, and helping you become, aware of your own true strengths, nature, and power. This is my job, my love, and my passion.
